National Fatherhood Festival
On Saturday, June 16, take Dad out to the 7th-annual National Fatherhood Festival.
It’s a free conference that provides workshops centered on educating male parents and mentors.
This event will be held at the Convention Center, on Arch Street at 12th Street, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Childcare is available, and breakfast and lunch are provided.
The conference offers information on custody and support rights, health and heart wellness, money management, what new fathers need to know and how to make a difference in your child’s education.

Gary Papa Run
Spend Father’s Day helping others by participating in the 10th annual Gary Papa Run to benefit prostate cancer research and awareness.
On, June 17, Prostate Health International will host the run, named in honor of 6ABC’s former sportscaster Gary Papa.
This 5K run/walk and 1-mile “fun walk” will begin at 8:30 a.m. at Eakins Oval at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, 2600 Benjamin Franklin Parkway.

Daddy and Me Day at the Philadelphia Zoo
Celebrate Father’s Day with a family sleepover at the Philadelphia Zoo from 6:30 p.m. Saturday, June 16 to 10 a.m. Sunday, June 17. Founding Fathers’ stroll
Join the Father’s Day 5K stroll across the Benjamin Franklin Bridge for the first ever “Founding Father’s Day Stroll.”
During the stroll on Sunday, June 17, from 8 a.m. to noon, participants can meet founding father Thomas Jefferson, learn about his love of exercise and take a picture with him. Bring your camera!
This event helps the Friends of Independence save Philadelphia’s national treasures and preserve the national park.
Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for first child aged between six and 14 years of age ($5 for each additional child) and free for children aged five or younger.

Simeone Auto Museum free admission
From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on June 17, Kensington native and executive director of Simeone Auto Museum Fred Simeone will offer free admission to fathers who are accompanied by a family member.
The Simeone Auto Museum is one of the world’s largest collections of racing sports cars. The museum has over 60 of the rarest and most significant sports cars ever built.
