Falcons CYO football
The Saint Anne’s Falcons CYO football team is looking for boys in grades five through eight interested in playing football for the 2012 season. No weight restrictions. Practice begins the third Monday of August.

Franklin Towne Charter car show
Franklin Towne Charter High School’s first annual car show will be held Saturday, August 25 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sponsored by the Northeast Muscle Car Club and the Towne Parent Association.
To be held at Franklintowne Elementary at 4529 Richmond St. in the school gym and parking area.
For crafters and vendor registration, set up is 8 a.m. Cost is $25 for a table and chair in the air-conditioned gym. Car registration is $20.

LSH trip to Mohegan Sun
Join the Lutheran Settlement House seniors on a summer outing to Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs on Friday, August 10. The cost of the trip is $35 and includes round-trip transportation, $20 in slot play and a lunch buffet.
