EKNA/FNA to meet
East Kensington Neighbors Association and Fishtown Neighbors Association will hold a public meeting tonight, September 12 at 7:15 p.m. at Circle of Hope Church, 2007 Frankford Ave.
EKNA will review the zoning variance for 2042 E. Sergeant St., a new construction non-conforming single-family house. Then, EKNA and FNA will review a proposed liquor license for Soup Kitchen, located at 2146 E. Susquehanna Ave. ••
Cohox dance registration
Cohox Recreation Center, at 2901 Cedar St., will offer beginner’s tap and ballet, youth tap, youth Irish dance, youth hip-hop, and adult tap dance classes beginning October 1.

Port Richmond Tigers news
Tickets are on sale for the Tigers’ 2012 annual sports banquet. It will be held Thursday, Sept 20 at 6 p.m. at the “Casbah,” at Thompson and Tioga streets. Eligibile players are free but must get a ticket. $15 for adults, $12 for non-playing children.

Celebrate the Feast of San Gennaro with Mater Dolorosa Church with a bus trip to New York City. The trip will take place on September 16.

SKCP elections
On September 24 at 6:30 p.m., at the SKCP office at 1301 N. 2nd St., the South Kensington Community Partners (SKCP) will hold its Neighborhood Advisory Committee (NAC) Elections.
The group is currently looking for neighbors to serve on the election committee, which oversees this election process, as well as those who are interested in running for the Neighborhood Advisory Committee.
