Halloween “Freaky Farm”

Join neighbors for a fun Halloween attraction — starting Friday, Oct. 26 and running through Tuesday, Oct. 30, visit the corner of Thompson and Albert streets for a walk-through “haunted house” in an old barn, as well as a corn maze and other attractions.

The attraction is open from 7 to 9 p.m. each night, and cost is $2, which will benefit the Scleroderma Foundation. ••

Philly Zombie Fest

Join other undead enthusiasts at the Piazza at Schmidt’s in NoLibs for Philly Zombie Fest. Stop by from 2 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 27. Arrive decked out in zombie fashion and makeup, or get “zombie-fied” by on-site makeup artists.

Enjoy food and drink specials, “brain” eating contests, an “ugly pageant” and a “scariest scream” contest. Bands and DJs will entertain throughout the day, and all ages are welcome.

This is a free event, but please bring a nonperishable food item to donate to Philabundance. The Piazza is at 1050 N. Hancock St. ••

A Penn Treaty Halloween

Join the Friends of Penn Treaty Park group on Saturday, Oct. 27 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the park, Columbia and Delaware avenues, for a flea market and Halloween activities like a pumpkin patch, face painting and candy. For more info, call 215–425–0393. ••

Halloween contest at Bridesburg Recreation

The Bridesburg Recreation Center will host a Halloween contest for boys and girls aged 10 and under. Come enjoy trophies, prizes and treats.

The contest will take place on Saturday, Oct. 27 at 2 p.m. at the center, 4625 Richmond St. ••

Anthony’s Halloween party

On Saturday, Oct. 27, visit Anthony’s Café, at 319 E. Girard Ave., from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.The bar will offer all-you-can-drink domestic beer for $25 and all-you-can-drink imported beer for $35. There will also be prizes for best costume. ••

FACT Halloween party

FACT (Fishtown Action) is having a “make your own sundae” Halloween party on Sunday, Oct. 28 at Holy Name Church Hall, 701 Gaul St.

The party is for children age 10 and under. Costumes are welcome. Doors open at 2 p.m., and cost is $3 per person. ••

Halloween crafts

The Richmond Branch of the Free Library of Philadelphia, at 2987 Almond St. will offer a Halloween craft: on Oct. 30 at 3:45, school-age children can join Miss Sheila to make a Halloween friendship pin. ••

Liberti Church celebration

Liberti Church at 2424 Studios, at 2424 E. York St., will host a family-friendly Halloween party open to all on Halloween night from 6 to 9 p.m.. Come enjoy a free photo booth, candy, games and soccer. ••

Adaire’s ‘haunted halls’

Stop by Alexander Adaire School on Halloween night from 5:30 to 7:30 for the school’s 4th annual “Haunted School” night. Tour the school’s haunted halls and enjoy music and snacks.

Cost is $3 per child, $5 per adult; funds go to 8th grade students’ graduation fees and trip. ••
