On Saturday, Aug. 24, youth music outreach organization Rock to the Future hosted its “Rally for Rock” event at Northern Liberties’ Liberty Lands Park.

The event sought to raise funds for Rock to the Future, and succeeded in raising more than $4,000, four times more than the organization’s goal.

Rock to the Future will use the funds to work with its partner schools to bring music workshops to local classrooms this school year. Pictured here, kids from Rock to the Future jam out for last week’s audience, which numbered more than 600 people.
