Local River Wards politicians joined customers Sept. 18 at the ShopRite store on Aramingo Avenue to help bag groceries as part of ShopRite’s Partners in Caring program. Partners in Caring is a year-round charity which has donated $30 million to local food banks since its inception in 1999. State Senator Michael Stack (5th dist.), State Rep. John Taylor (177th dist.), Councilman Mark Squilla (1st dist.) and Councilman Bobby Henon (6th dist.) gave shoppers a hand with their bags as honorary ShopRite employees that day.
