These events come as part of The Monthly Fund’s September edition

On Friday, Sept. 15 at 6 p.m., the farm will be hosting a mural unveiling and then showing the film, Pee Wee’s Big Adventure, at sundown. Meet muralist Dimitri and celebrate the beautiful mural he has created for our community growing space. There will be food, beverages and merriment.

Then, on Saturday, Sept. 16 from 10 a.m. to noon the farm will be open for local residents to come get fresh veggies or to take a tour of the farm. Then, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., the farm will showcase a theater performance that friend of the organization, Jeremy Prouty, will be putting together. There will also be performances by Chris Davis, Jess Conda, Company Aiello, The Primaries and Sterling Duns.

Both events will be held at the Emerald Street Community Farm, located at the intersection of Dauphin and Emerald Streets.
