This is being done on behalf of the Philadelphia Housing Authority

On Thursday, Oct. 12, Barry S. Slosberg, Inc. will auction at its gallery 54 residential properties, some with commercial potential, on behalf of the Philadelphia Housing Authority (PHA). These single, semi-detached, row homes and lots are located throughout the city, with a special focus upon the Point Breeze, South Philadelphia, West Philadelphia, Germantown and Temple University neighborhoods.

Upon accepting this dynamic project from PHA, auctioneer Barry Slosberg observed, “In bold contrast to the national trend of the last decade, the housing stock in Philadelphia has consistently represented a stable opportunity for investors, and with the central city’s dramatic expansion an increasingly attractive draw for local and regional buyers. This inventory of properties offers much diversity in all categories for both buyer groups.”

Additionally, an informational seminar will be presented at the Slosberg auction gallery on Thursday, Oct. 5 from noon to 4 p.m. Property inspection will be on a drive-by basis only. The auction sale will take place at the gallery the following Thursday, Oct,12, at 10 a.m., with registration beginning at 10 a.m.

For more information, consult the auctioneer’s website: www.bssauction.com.
