With great pride and anticipation, the Fishtown Neighbors Association is pleased to announce the 10th Annual RiverCity Festival on Saturday, Oct. 14 beginning at noon and running until sunset at 6 p.m., located at historic Penn Treaty Park. Free and open to the public, the RiverCity Festival reinforces friendships in our community, promotes exciting local businesses and showcases everything that makes Fishtown stand out as a neighborhood with tremendous history and vibrancy.

Organized by the dedicated volunteers of the Fishtown Neighbors Association and featuring over 100 local arts and food vendors, RiverCity Festival attracts nearly 10,000 attendees to raise funds for neighborhood projects and revitalization. We also invite you and your employees to email, friend and tweet the RiverCity Festival, so all of our friends and family know that fun is to be had in Fishtown at the Penn Treaty Park.

The event will kick off with a 5k Fun Run through the streets of Fishtown. The 2017 course begins and ends at Penn Treaty Park and highlights art throughout the neighborhood. Slow down and take notice of the creativity in the Riverwards, or speed on by — but remember, this is an untimed fun run and the course is not closed. Keep an eye out for traffic! As always, the fun run raises funds to support the Fishtown Neighbors Association, and is sponsored by Tioga-Franklin Savings Bank.

For those ages 21 and older, registration costs $25 includes two beverage tickets to enjoy in the RiverCity Hospitality Tent, featuring your favorites from Philadelphia Brewing Company, St. Benjamin Brewing, Evil Genius and more. Under age 21/non-drinker registration is available for $15.

This run is made possible with the support of the Fishtown Beer Runners, a neighborhood running club that is no stranger to running and enjoying a brew post-5k. Their motto is to combine responsible running and drinking in the interest of science, and they’re adding in some volunteering and will be out to help mark the course, provide directions and offer encouragement.

All registrants will receive a tech t-shirt. Register early to guarantee a desired shirt size. Registration will remain open until a sell out; if space is still available, race day registration will be $30 for 21+ and $20 for a non-drinker registration. The run is capped at 250 runners.
