This celebration will benefit the Philadelphia North Advisory Council who, in coordination with the Foundation for Catholic Education, supports initiatives that will help increase enrollment and provide scholarship money to low income families which will assist in the sustainability of Catholic schools in Philadelphia North.

The Foundation for Catholic Education which supports the Catholic Elementary Schools in Philadelphia North is a 501(c) (3) Foundation that was formed with a goal to maintain, and increase enrollment in our Catholic Schools. The Foundation is core to our local fund raising strategies as it strives to reach out to those families and children who need financial assistance for their Catholic Education.

For the 2016–2017 school year, the Foundation distributed over $1.125 million in tuition assistance to over 750 Philadelphia Archdiocesan students. Since 2011–12, over $3 million has been awarded to 3,150 recipients.

The Catholic schools in Philadelphia North thank attendees in advance for their support, and they look forward to serving even more students and families as they celebrate and honor champions of Catholic education in Philadelphia North.
