Mystery bag bingo
LAOH Div. 87 will host a mystery bag bingo on Friday, Feb. 9, from 7 to 11 p.m. at Polish American String Band Hall, 2727 E. Italian dinner night
St. John Cantius will host Italian Dinner Night on Saturday, Feb. 10, from 4 to 7 p.m. in St. John’s auditorium. The menu will include chicken parmesan, pasta, soup, salad, garlic bread, dessert and a beverage. BYOB. 50/50 chances and basket drawings will be available for purchase. Winterfest
NLNA will host Winterfest on Sunday, Feb. 11, from 1 to 5 p.m. at North Bowl, 909 N. Second St. Tickets cost $15 in advance for adults and $20 at the door, $15 for seniors, $10 for kids 13 to 17, and free for kids 12 and under. Tickets are available at the community center, 700 N. Valentine dinner
American Legion Post 821, 4404 Salmon St., will host a Valentine dinner featuring Sinatra and Friends, Jacky Dee, on Saturday, Feb. 17. Saint George Paint Night

Adaire Chess Club

Support group
Lost parents and family members group meets every third Monday of the month at 7 p.m. at Cione Recreation Center, Lehigh and Aramingo avenues. Anyone who is suffering from the loss of a loved one, friend or whoever is welcome.
Nutrition assistance for seniors
Residents 60 and older who are disabled and have low to modest income may be eligible for SNAP benefits. If you are single and your income is less than $1,962 a month, or less than $2,656 a month for a couple, you may qualify. There is no limit on how much a senior has in savings and checking accounts. For assistance in completing an application, schedule an appointment with the social service coordinator at St. Anne’s Senior Center, 2607 E. Cumberland St., (215) 426–9799.
