LINC High School accepting applications
The LINC High School (Learning In New Contexts), at 122 W. Erie Ave., is now accepting applications for the 2018–2019 school year. There are a limited number of seats available. Bridesburg Historical Society trip
The Bridesburg Historical Society will partner with the Frankford Historical Society, 1507 Orthodox St., on Wednesday, March 14, at 7 p.m. A special exhibit on the Frankford Yellow Jackets will be on display at the FHS headquarters. Spadaro appearance
Philadelphia Eagles insider Dave Spadaro will appear at a Greater Northeast Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce luncheon on Friday, March 23, at The Union League Golf Club at Torresdale, 3801 Grant Ave. Registration begins at 11:30 a.m., followed by lunch at noon and the program at 12:30 p.m. Tickets cost $65 for Chamber members and invited guests and $75 for non-members. Homemade Easter candy sale

Easter egg hunt
The Block Church, 2619 E. Indiana Ave., will host a free Easter egg hunt at Penn Treaty Park on March 31 from 2 to 4 p.m. The event will include 31,000 eggs for children to find, two bounce houses, face painting, water ice and a photo booth to take a picture with the Easter bunny. Food trucks will also be present as a food option. The egg hunt is open to all children from 1 to 11 years old and will be broken up into age categories: one to three, four to five, six to eight and nine to 11. All egg hunts will run for 20 minutes each. Attendees are encouraged to pre-register on Eventbrite for tickets and a chance to win a prize. Walk-ons to the egg hunts will be limited. The Block Church hosts Sunday services at their Port Richmond location in Richmond Hall at 9:00 a.m., 10:30 a.m., and noon.

Nutrition assistance for seniors
Residents 60 and older who are disabled and have low to modest income may be eligible for SNAP benefits. If you are single and your income is less than $1,962 a month, or less than $2,656 a month for a couple, you may qualify. There is no limit on how much a senior has in savings and checking accounts.
