Bridesburg Pool bricks
Own a piece of the Bridesburg Pool. Authentic pool bricks are available for purchase for $10 each. Proceeds benefit the gymnastics program. Bricks available while supplies last.

Food Drive
In conjunction with Philabundance, a food drive will be held until the end of June with donation points at South Kensington Community Partners , 1301 N. 2nd St.,, PlayArts, 1241 N .Front St., the UPS Store, 3rd Street and Girard Avenue, and Spot’s Spot Pet Grooming, 123 W. Girard. Among Philabundance’s most-needed items are canned fruits & veggies, canned tuna, meat & soup; cereal; PB & J; rice; cooking oil, and whole grain pasta.

Tumbling and gymnastics registration
Registration for the Tumbling and Gymnastics Camp at Bridesburg Recreation Center, 4601 Richmond St., is now open. The camp is for ages 3 to 12, will be held Monday, July 9, to Friday, July 27, from 9 to 10 a.m., and is limited to 45 children. Cost is $70 for three weeks or $30 per week. Camp must be paid in full at registration.

Art classes
Art classes will be held every Wednesday at noon at Lutheran Settlement House, 1340 Frankford Ave. Classes will be led by Barbara Morehead. Cost is $2 per class. For details, call 215–426–8610.

Read, Baby, Read My First Storytime
Richmond Library, 2987 Almond St., will host Read, Baby, Read My First Storytime on and Thursday, June 21, at 11 a.m. Bring your little one for free lap time with stories, songs, rhymes and bounces. For children ages birth to 12 months with caregiver. Childcares and groups, please call the library to make an appointment.

St. Adalbert Parish Summer Bazaar
St. Adalbert Parish Summer Festival will take place on Thursday, June 21,
Friday, June 22, Saturday, June 23, from 6 to 10 p.m. and Sunday, June 24, from noon to 5 p.m. at the parish grounds, Allegheny Avenue & Thompson Street. The event will feature games for the children, a beer garden, flea market, specialty baskets, Cake booth, jardo, homemade Polish & American food and much more. On Thursday, Polish American String Band will play, Patty-Pat will be the DJ on Friday, Saturday will feature Continental Polish Music and Sunday will feature a DJ. Friday, June 22 will be Alumni Night, with a gathering in the beer garden from 7 to 9 p.m.

Construction Club
Richmond Library will hold Construction Club on Friday, June 22, at 3:30 p.m. Build with LEGOs, MagnaTiles, KEVA planks, Straws & Connectors, and more. All ages welcome. Children under seven must be accompanied by an adult.

Ferko concert
The Joseph A. Ferko String Band will perform a free community concert at the Bridesburg Recreation Center on Tuesday, June 26, at 7:30 p.m. The concert will take place in front of the rec. Bring a lawn chair and enjoy the music.

Flea market
A flea market will be held at The Lutheran Settlement House, 1340 Frankford Ave., on Saturday, June 30, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tables are $15. For details, call 215–426–8610.

Property Tax / Rent Rebate Program
Pennsylvania Property Tax/Rent Rebate Program applications are now available. There are new guidelines, which will permit individuals who qualify to receive a rebate between $250 and $650 from property taxes or rent paid last year. This application must be filed by June 30. To qualify, you must be a senior citizen 65 years of age or older, a widow or widower 50 years of age or older, or a disabled person 18 years or older. Homeowners who have annual incomes of $35,000 or less and renters with annual incomes of $15,000 or less could qualify. Only half of your annual Social Security or SSI income is counted toward the income guideline. Fleet Reserve Association meeting
Fleet Reserve Association (FRA) George L. Carlin; Branch 001 will meet on Monday, July 2, at 1 p.m. at USCG Sector Delaware Bay, 1 Washington Ave. All enlisted, active duty, retired, veteran USN, USMC, and USCG are welcome. Holy Inn going to AC
Holy Innocents Catholic Church is organizing a casino trip for Wednesday, Aug. 15. A bus will depart from L Street and Hunting Park Avenue at 9:30 a.m. A Mass will be celebrated at noon at Atlantic City’s Boardwalk Hall, followed by a procession to a blessing of the sea. A carnival-like reception at St. Michael Church will follow. The trip includes a $25 slots package at Tropicana Casino. 16th annual Shore Thing
St. Anne Parish will hold its 16th annual Shore Thing on Saturday, Aug. 18, from 2 to 6 p.m. at Keenan’s, Wildwood, NJ. Tickets cost $35 and include domestic bottled beer, wine, soda, buffet, music, and photo booth. All proceeds go toward the installation of an elevator life in St. Anne Church. Vermont-New Hampshire trip
