State Rep. Joe Hohenstein, City Councilman Bobby Henon and the Mayfair Business Improvement District held a veterans appreciation barbecue on Saturday afternoon, July 10, at Frankford and Cottman avenues.

Members of the 15th Police District Advisory Council handed out hoagies from Marinucci’s Deli and cooked kielbasa, donated by Czerw’s.

Hohenstein, Henon and state Sen. Tina Tartaglione set up information tables, while vendors provided veteran-specific federal, state and city resources. ••
