Stock’s Bakery is collecting new, unwrapped toys for the Marines Toys for Tots drive until Dec. 15.

Toys for Tots

Stock’s Bakery, 2614 E. Lehigh Ave., will be collecting new, unwrapped toys for the Marines Toys for Tots drive until Wednesday, Dec. 15.

Toys can be dropped off Tuesday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Saturdays, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Indoor flea market opening

A new indoor flea market will be open weekends from January through March at the Roosevelt Mall, 2329 Cottman Ave., next to Rainbow.

The grand opening will be on Saturday and Sunday, Jan. 1 and 2, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Indoor spaces are $50.

Get your North Catholic items

The Northeast Catholic Alumni Association Christmas sale will take place on Saturday, Dec. 18, from noon to 4 p.m. at the alumni office at 2700 Rhawn St.

Items include hats, shirts, mugs, beer glasses and shorts.

Letters to Santa

Bridesburg’s North Pole Express Mail, 4506 Almond St., will accept letters to Santa until Monday, Dec. 20.

Letters can be dropped into the mailbox any time and day of the week.

A return address and unused stamps should be included with the letter.

Christmas at Post 396

Boleslaw Grochowski American Legion Post 396, 2171 Wakeling St., will host its annual Christmas party for members on Saturday, Dec. 18.

Doors open at noon, followed by activities from 1 to 3 p.m. Parking is in the rear.

Guests are asked to bring a wrapped gift for Santa Claus to distribute.

Portside classes at Cherry Street Pier

Portside Arts Center will host upcoming kids, teen and adult classes at Cherry Street Pier, 121 N. Columbus Blvd.

Children’s Saturday Class will be held on Saturdays, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. for ages 4 to 10. Cost is $15 per class or $55 for four classes.

Teen Portfolio Building Workshop will be held on Saturdays from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. for ages 11 to 17. Cost is $20 per class or $70 for four classes.

Figure Drawing Adult Class will be held on Thursdays, from Jan. 5-25, from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Cost is $125.
