Northeast Philly-born comedian Edwin Rodriguez, better known by his stage name Ed Bassmaster, has landed a residency at Rivers Casino.

Best known for his YouTube prank videos, Bassmaster will be performing four shows over the next year at Rivers, the first of which is scheduled for Friday, April 29. Additional dates are Saturday, July 30, Friday, Nov. 1, and Saturday, Jan. 28, 2023. Each show will start at 8 p.m.

“Ed’s shows are a hot ticket. He sold out so fast last time that we’re thrilled to have him back four more times over the next year,” said Justin Moore, general manager of Rivers Casino, in a press release. “The fans asked, and Rivers has delivered.”

After initially starting his comedy career in standup, Bassmaster rose to fame after he began uploading his man-on-the-street videos onto his YouTube page, which has amassed nearly 2.5 million subscribers. His success was turned into the reality-TV series The Ed Bassmaster Show, which aired on CMT.

More information regarding tickets, which currently go for $29, can be found at RiversCasino.com/Philadelphia
