Following his previous performance this past winter, award-winning artist Bobby Brown will be returning to Rivers Casino with a show on Friday, May 20, at 8 p.m.

Brown initially started out as a founding member of R&B and pop group New Edition, which sold over 20 million records worldwide. Since branching out into a solo career in 1987, Brown has released four studio albums, including 1988’s Don’t Be Cruel that sold over 3 million copies and reached the top spot on the Billboard Top 200 list.

In all, he has sold over 12 million records, won the Grammy Award for Best Male R&B Vocal Performance with “Every Little Step,” and has also taken home an American Music Award and a Soul Train Lifetime Achievement Award. Billboard Magazine named him one of the 60 greatest male artists of all time in its 60th anniversary edition.

“Fans will move and groove to some of the best R&B classics from the ’80s and ’90s when Bobby Brown comes to The Event Center,” said Justin Moore, general manager of Rivers Casino, in a press release. “With a performance of classic hits, Brown will take over the stage like he’s always done throughout his illustrious career.”
