After kicking off the New Year’s festivities this past winter, Gloria Gaynor will be returning to Rivers Casino to perform on Friday, Aug. 26, at 8 p.m.

Over the course of her career that has spanned over 50 years, Gaynor has released a hit song in each decade. Her 2020 album Testimony earned her a Grammy Award for Best Roots Gospel Album, which came 40 years after receiving her first Grammy for “I Will Survive.”

In addition to her music career, Gaynor has supported numerous charities throughout the years, including establishing the I Will Survive online community, in order to give back and uplift communities during tough times.

“Gloria Gaynor is an inspiration, and she’ll touch our guests’ hearts when she performs in The Event Center,” said Justin Moore, the general manager of Rivers Casino, in a press release. “Fans will love seeing this global music icon performing her hits such as ‘I Will Survive,’ ‘Never Can Say Goodbye,’ ‘I Am What I Am’ and more in what will be an incredible show.”

More information regarding tickets, which start at $39, can be found at RiversCasino.com/Philadelphia.
