Renowned saxophonist and composer Boney James is set to perform at Rivers Casino on Wednesday, Nov. 23, at 8 p.m.

Over the course of his 30-year career, James has sold more than 3 million records, earning four RIAA Gold Records in the process. He’s won a Soul Train Music Award for Best Jazz Album in addition to being nominated for four Grammy Awards, including for Best Pop Instrumental Album with his 2013 album The Beat, and two NAACP awards.

Named by Billboard as one of the three best contemporary jazz artists of the decade in 2009, James’ setlist will include songs from his 2020 album Solid. It serves as a follow-up to his 2017 hit album Honestly, which became his 11th project to top the Billboard Contemporary Jazz Album chart.

“Guests will love hearing the smooth sounds of Boney James in The Event Center,” said Justin Moore, the general manager of Rivers Casino, in a press release. “His music has a signature style that will electrify the audience.”

More information regarding tickets, which currently start at $49, can be found at RiversCasino.com/Philadelphia.
