Debbie Gibson to perform at Rivers Casino

Singer, songwriter, producer and actress Debbie Gibson is set to perform at Rivers Casino on Sat., Dec. 3, at 8 p.m.

Over the course of her 35 years in show business, Gibson has found success in many different forms of entertainment. She has released 10 studio albums, the first two of which being certified platinum, and five compilation albums, selling more than 16 million records worldwide. She has also put together a successful theater career, at one point starring in 17 musicals in 17 years.

This upcoming holiday show will feature the first holiday album of her career, Winterlicious, which is set to be released on Oct. 21. It includes renditions of classic hits such as “White Christmas” as well as originals like “Heartbreak Holiday,” a duet performed with Joey McIntyre. A 30th anniversary edition of “Sleigh Ride Remastered” that will benefit the Special Olympics will also be part of the album.

“We’re looking forward to hosting pop icon and personal favorite Debbie Gibson this upcoming holiday season,” said Justin Moore, the general manager of Rivers Casino, in a press release. “She’s the ‘original pop princess,’ and her show is a great way to celebrate the season.”
