Bring Bailey into your home

Bailey is a 4-year-old beautiful chocolate brown mixed-breed dog who came into the shelter as a stray after being found on someone’s porch on Nov. 20. Bailey was understandably scared when first brought into the shelter, but warmed up quickly to staff.

Bailey is the cutest dog, and attracts plenty of attention in her kennel as she will gently jump up to say hello and lick your hand. Once out of her kennel, that’s when her energy comes out. She would make a great running buddy for someone.

Bailey loves other dogs, and wants to be their friend, but they don’t always appreciate her exuberance. She would love to be in a home with another dog, but they would have to be patient with her bouncy, high-energy behavior, or be able to join in on the fun. Bailey is at the very full Philadelphia Animal Care and Control shelter. Email [email protected] to meet her. ••
