SIN Philadelphia steakhouse will open this year at 1102 Germantown Ave. in Northern Liberties, on the ground level of a 51-unit apartment complex that will also open in 2023.

SIN is an acronym for Steak Italian Nightlife, and aims to open in September.

The 4,750-square-foot space will feature a main dining room, bar and private dining room/event space, all that seat around 200.

Restaurateur and co-owner Justin Veasey and partners Mike Connors and William Muhr Jr. will bring an upscale meal, cocktails and music and entertainment.

The kitchen will deliver Italian cuisine, homemade pastas and high-end steaks. The menu will include vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free offerings. SIN will also feature “cheese wheel” homemade pasta served tableside.

SIN’s bar program will focus on bottled beer, wine and martinis.

SIN hopes to be a spot for weddings, rehearsal dinners, birthday dinners, business dinners and special occasions.

“Northern Liberties Business Improvement District welcomes this stunning new high-end addition to the city’s fastest-growing neighborhood,” said NLBID executive dIrector Kris Kennedy. “Northern Liberties Restaurant Row has seen so many high-profile grand openings since the pandemic and we are thrilled for yet another quality addition that continues to add to the fabric and diversity of our dining scene. SIN follows openings recently that have included Pietramala, PERA Turkish Cuisine, Suya Suya, Figo Ristorante, Figo Pizzeria, Anejo Philadelphia, SET No Libs, Bagels and Co., Mochinut, The Shake Seafood, The Winston and others. We are excited to add at least 10 new food options this year that includes SIN, Playa Bowls and several others yet to be announced. The red-hot restaurant scene couldn’t come at a better time as the neighborhood will see its population nearly double over the next 1-3 years with the Northern Liberties construction boom.”

SIN will be open seven days a week with hours Monday to Wednesday, 4-11 p.m.; Thursday, 4 p.m. to midnight; Friday, 4 p.m. to 1:30 a.m.; Saturday brunch, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.; Saturday dinner, 5 p.m. to 1:30 a.m.; and Sunday brunch, 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
