Make Alfie, Cedar the stars of your home

Alfie is a sweet 1-year-old guy who is looking for a foster or adoptive home through Hand2Paw. He is funny, quirky, full of personality and very sweet. He struggles a bit with getting overexcited, but he’s been working so hard on that during his board and train program. What’s the best remedy for a dog who’s too excited? Lots and lots of “chilling on a dog bed” games. He likes chin rubs, sniffing activities, naps in his crate and long walks in the woods. He’s probably OK with young dogs who can handle his excitement, and has lived successfully with cats in his previous home, but we think he’d be the star of the show in most homes. He is active but also enjoys chilling with his bones. Alfie has been working hard to be the best boy he can be, and would love a human family to continue loving and supporting him. Cedar is a playful and energetic kitten who loves to run, jump and scale the tallest cat towers at warp speed. His favorite things are carrying around spring toys, and wrestling with his siblings. He tries to play with the bigger cats in foster, but it’s not always appreciated. He does have good manners and listens when the bigger cats scold him. Cedar is not a snuggly kitten, he enjoys attention and petting but he doesn’t like to be held. However, if you bring out all the toys, he will be your best friend forever.

Cedar, 6 months old, is neutered and current on vaccinations, and has tested negative for the feline leukemia and immunodeficiency viruses.
