Stokley to perform at Rivers

Grammy-nominated vocalist, songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist Stokley is coming to Rivers Casino’s Event Center on Friday, April 14, at 8 p.m. Tickets start at $49.

Stokley has worked and toured with some of the biggest names in music, including Prince, Whitney Houston, Janet Jackson and Alicia Keys.

After gaining recognition from being the lead singer of and drummer for Mint Condition, Stokley embarked on his solo journey in 2017 with the release of his debut album, Introducing Stokley.

Stokley’s most recent album, Sankofa, features an extended version of his Billboard No. 1 single She,, and songs featuring more popular artists such as Snoop Dogg and H.E.R.

Stokley has been featured in television performances alongside Jimmy Fallon and Conan O’Brien, and on various award shows such as BET Honors and the American Music Awards. His film scores and catalog of studio work include Mariah Carey, Usher, Mary J. Blige and Jill Scott.

Stokley is part of the upcoming entertainment lineup at Rivers, which is scheduled as follows: Feb. 11 (Sal “The Voice” Valentinetti), Feb. 17 (DJ Jazzy Jeff), Feb. 18 (Rob Schneider), March 18 (The Clairvoyants) and March 24 (Yesterday: The Beatles Tribute).
