Are your pets Harry Potter fans?

Of course, they are. So why not let them celebrate that fact as Craft Hall and the Unleashed Bark & Beer dog park and beer garden holds its inaugural Dogwarts Quidditch Tournament and charity fundraiser on April 30. Dogs and their two-legged parents can win points for their houses and enjoy endless canine-themed Harry Potter puns.

Proceeds from the event, at 901 N. Delaware Ave., will benefit the Pennsylvania Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
Welcome to Dogwarts is free, with registration in advance required for all puggles who will compete.

Welcome to Dogwarts is a charity fundraiser that brings together Harry “Pawter” fans and their furry and friendly fantastic beasts. The quidditch tournament will begin at 1 p.m. with the opening hat-sorting ceremony. Puggles – the canine contestants — must be 45 pounds or under to participate in the match. Larger dogs, over 45 pounds, are welcome to enjoy Unleashed Bark & Beer and to watch, cheer, bark and play.

Dogwarts, the School of Good Boys and Good Girls, is open to anyone wishing to come cheer on the contestants. Admission is free for all, and all food and drink is pay-as-you-go. This event is family-friendly, so non-fur babies are welcome.

All dogs must be leashed inside the event. However, dogs can get their zoomies unleashed outside at the secure Unleashed Bark & Beer dog park and beer garden.

In addition to the quidditch match, there will be special backdrops and magical decor to take photos with furry friends for the full Dogwarts experience. Food and drink specials will be available with each purchase earning the PSPCA points toward donation to the Dogwart house.
