Is Abby Rose right for you?

Sweet, darling Abby Rose was found running loose on the street and was saved by Delco Dawgs. Abby is a typical young, large, mixed-breed puppy. She wakes up ready to live her best life, ready to face the day with a go-go-go attitude. She loves to run, jump, play and wrestle. Even as she gets older (she’s 2½ years old now), the playful personality continues to shine through. She could walk and walk and walk and is ready to be your hiking buddy. With some acclimation, she could even carry your things in a backpack. She’ll walk in the rain, in the snow and in the sunshine. Abby also enjoys sunbathing, playing with toys, enriching food toys for meals (like a stuffed Kong) and learning new things in training sessions, and she loves a really good neck scratch or butt rub. She also loves water and likes to swim in the ocean and ponds and loves a good puddle.

More of Abby’s likes: giving kisses, eating treats, rolling in the grass, napping on the couch or in her crate, running, jumping, playing, stealing food off the counter and running through your legs as a fun trick.

Abby’s dislikes: critters, cats, vet visits, other dogs near her while she has toys or food, lots of fussing around her neck or body when putting equipment on like collars and harnesses.

Abby has the support of Delco Dawgs and great foster parents to get her home ready. She is fully housebroken and is crate trained. She’s healthy, fully vaccinated and spayed. She gets regular training sessions to make her even better behaved, and this support will continue with her adopter.

If you are interested in learning more or being a foster or adopter, visit www.delcodawgs.org, go to the “How to Foster” tab and complete the foster application and agreement. ••
