Republican campaigns come to Cannstatter’s

The Republican City Committee on Saturday held its annual Great American Family BBQ at Cannstatter’s.

Elected officials on hand included state Rep. Martina White, City Councilman Brian O’Neill and elections commissioner Seth Bluestein. O’Neill and Bluestein are running for four-year terms in November.

Also in attendance was Carolyn Carluccio, president judge of Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas, who is running for Supreme Court. Westmoreland County Common Pleas Court Judge Harry Smail, running for Superior Court, was on stage, along with Megan Martin, a candidate for Commonwealth Court.

Mayoral candidate David Oh appeared, as did Council at-large candidates Drew Murray, Jim Hasher, Gary Grisafi and Frank Cristinzio and Linwood Holland, running for register of wills, and Rania Major, running for Municipal Court.

Several Common Pleas and Municipal Court judges running for retention addressed the crowd. ••
