Fishtown knows how to party.

The 10th annual Fishtown Fall Feastivale will be the biggest in the event’s history with the largest block party of the season. Nearly three dozen award-winning bars and restaurants will converge on Frankford Avenue stretching from Girard Avenue to Palmer Street, on Saturday, Sept. 23, from noon to 8 p.m.

The Feastivale features a special Bavarian block party at Frankford Hall.

“Fishtown District has become a top destination for foodies citywide,” Fishtown District Director of Operations Kae Anderson said. “Fishtown Fall Feastivale is the perfect way to eat your way down Frankford Avenue. It is our biggest lineup of restaurants and bars ever. There’s going to be something for everyone.”

Now in its 10th year, the free event is perfect for families and pets. The goal is to surpass 2022’s record by setting another highest attendance.

More than 125 vendors and community groups will host carnival games and other special offerings for party-goers.

The area’s best food and drink is the Feastivale’s biggest drawing card, but the festival is a true celebration of Fishtown and its ever-expanding creative arts and shopping scene.

To set the tone for the end-of-summer celebration, music will ring out all along the block party’s length featuring area disc jockeys and musical acts. In addition, the municipal parking area at Frankford Avenue and Thompson Street will be transformed into a carnival game area for younger Feastivale-goers.

Frankford Hall will kick off its annual Oktoberfest during the event, with live oompah music, dancing, Bavarian food, outdoor beer tent and seating and more.

The entire event is easily reached using mass transportation, using the Girard Avenue stop on the Market-Frankford line. Located two blocks from Rivers Casino and the Fillmore, the block party area is jam-packed with boutiques, restaurants, cafes and more.
