Pastrami will steal your heart

Pastrami is a survivor of cruelty and neglect. He was initially found abandoned before being dropped off at an overcrowded shelter. When he finally arrived at Street Tails, he came with recent injuries to his neck and muzzle. However, he has not let the bad times keep him down. An assertive little fellow, Pastrami will quickly steal your heart with his quirkiness and big personality. He is a big dog in a small package and is not afraid to vocalize his feelings. He can be picky about whom he lets into his social circle, so other canine friends are made on a case-by-case basis. Understandably, he would like to dictate the pace in which he opens up, but once the trust is built, he is happiest when he is with his people or on a walk. Pastrami is looking for a family who understands his background and is willing to be patient and understanding as he settles in and begins to experience the best that life has to give him. Additionally, this talkative little pal is undergoing an oral procedure for holes present in his hard palate and would love a cozy place to crash during his recovery.
