Adopt your king of the castle

Trooper is a senior gent who wants to be your one and only love. Trooper originally came to Last Chance Ranch from the city’s Animal Care and Control in 2014. He was found with a gunshot wound above his eye. He received much-needed TLC and was adopted by his new best friend. They spent many happy years together until unfortunately his owner’s health failed and Trooper found himself in the shelter again. Both parties were equally as heartbroken but Trooper still has a smile on his face every morning ready for today’s adventure. Trooper is looking for a retirement home. He would like to be the king of his castle as an only fur child, with an unlimited supply of Jolly balls and a fenced yard to run around in, a soft couch or cushy dog bed would be nice, too. Trooper recently got back to his high school weight and still has a good amount of spring in his step.

Trooper’s adoption fee is $50. He is neutered, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, heartworm tested, on monthly preventions and dewormed. An application can be found at lastchanceranch.org.
