Towne takes part in parade

Franklin Towne Charter School participated in the recent Mayfair Holmesburg Thanksgiving Parade.

The grand marshal was Seward Johnson Atelier, the company that has placed statues along Frankford Avenue. Representatives from Seward Johnson Atelier will light the tree at the 14th annual Mayfair Tree Lighting and Christmas Village on Sunday, Dec. 3, from 2-6 p.m. at Frankford and Cottman avenues. There will be vendors, drinks, live music and photo opportunities with Santa Claus. ••
