Rivers Casino is betting that it can entice its patrons to stick around for a bit.

The latest addition to its mixed-use campus, The Battery, is the Riversuites Hotel. The new venture features upscale one- ,two- and three-bedroom suites, which are complete with full-service kitchenettes. Larger offerings include patios and/or bi-level lofts.

A large number of the 62 suite units offer Delaware River views and all guests have easy access to entertainment options in Fishtown. Rivers is hoping its hotel guests will enjoy the gaming, restaurant and entertainment options at the casino and in Philadelphia at large.

“The luxury accommodations at Riversuites are a game changer for Rivers Casino Philadelphia,” casino general manager Eric Althaus said. “VIPs and out-of-town visitors won’t find penthouse-quality suites with waterfront views like this anywhere else in Philly.”

The suites average more than 850 square feet, with the options up to 2,200 square feet. Private bedrooms, large common areas and expanded sleeping options are perfect for family, business or entertaining use.

The Battery is a six-minute walk through Penn Treaty Park on the Delaware Riverwalk to the casino and its eight restaurants. Those who prefer not to walk can make use of all-day shuttle and valet parking service.

“Opening Riversuites inside The Battery is the perfect opportunity for Rivers Casino Philadelphia to continue to be part of Fishtown’s growth and revitalization,” Rivers Casino CEO Tim Drehkoff said.

“The hotel’s addition marks an exciting time for our team and, most importantly, for our guests who will enjoy a remarkably unique overnight experience.” ••
