Celebrate with Mardi

Mardi has been in foster care for about four weeks and her life has done a 360 in that time. Mardi arrived at a local shelter as a suspected cruelty case. She was very underweight, dehydrated and covered in bite wounds and punctures on her neck, some of which were infected. Since then, she has received vet care, quality food and TLC. Thankfully, Mardi is a sweet soul who does not hold any of her former treatment against people.

Mardi likes to give hugs, take rides in cars, is fine with baths and nail trims and happily goes outside to potty.

Mardi is great in a crate and making progress with housebreaking, however she does have accidents if left too long. She should be crated when not supervised as she definitely is a trash hound and will look for any crumb of food and is fine with knocking everything off a shelf or table to find it.

She is about 2-3 years old and an American bulldog and/or boxer mix and is around 56 pounds. Mardi’s adoption fee includes her spay, vaccinations to date and microchipping. She also tested heartworm negative and is up to date on preventatives. She has had basic adult canine bloodwork and regular vet care as she has recovered.
