Local students contribute to BLOCS gala

Business Leadership Organized for Catholic Schools last week held its annual gala at the Crystal Tea Room.

The event included a hand-painted backdrop, titled Lighting Up The Future, by high school students from St. Hubert and St. Joseph’s Prep and the following pupils from St. Laurentius Elementary School: Chase Dailey, Gianna Donahue, Eric Tobin, Matilda Eubig, Avery Harr, Teiichi Herring, Norah Eubig, Joseph Stine, Owen Chi and Antonio Lopez.

There was also a BLOCS scholar spotlight that included Daviel Calderon, from Liguori Academy, 2343 E. Tucker St. ••
