Sweet Pea found herself at risk for euthanasia at a local shelter due to her heartbreaking condition. She was just 27 pounds, covered in wounds and desperate for TLC.

Sweet Pea is named for her sweetness. She is thriving in foster care — she adores people, loves to snuggle and despite her rough unknown past treats everyone with kindness. Sweet Pea is about 5 years old and just under 50 pounds. She loves to play and loves her toys. Sweet Pea has very few teeth left due to her past life of malnutrition. She had a full dental and healed up well. It does not hinder her zest for fun, but worth noting for her future adopter, Sweet Pea would do best with older kids if any are in the home. She has been working on her basic training and hopes for an adopter to help her continue. Pea could potentially live with a laid-back dog, but asks for no cats.
