It’s always Happy Hour in Fishtown.

Well, on Tuesdays from 7 to 9 p.m. through Oct. 29, that is.

The Fishtown District announced that Fishtown Taps will return for a second year, after a wildly successful effort to encourage revelers to visit Fishtown’s vibrant restaurant, bar and brewery scene during the work week. More than two dozen locations, so far, have joined the second year of the effort. Every location will feature specially-priced beers, wines and signature cocktails. Most locations will also offer special appetizers and small-plate food offerings as well.

“Last year we introduced ‘Fishtown Taps’ as a way to bring people to Fishtown and Kensington during the week with the incentive of specialty cocktails, beer and wine,” Fishtown District Executive Director Marc Collazzo said. “We are excited to once again to see the street filled with new shoppers and visitors. This extends not only to the participating establishments, but the retail stores, shops and services that are here as well.”

For its second year, Fishtown Taps and the Fishtown District have partnered with FYND app founder Max Thalheimer to promote the weekly event.

FYND is a one-stop mobile app that will direct Fishtown District revelers to search for specials, events and happenings across around the city. FYND will update special offerings from all Fishtown Taps participants each week.
