Saturday breakfast with Bashir and Rep. Thompson

The public is invited to a clergy breakfast with U.S. Rep. Glenn ”G.T.” Thompson and congressional candidate Aaron Bashir on Saturday, Aug. 31, at 9 a.m. at Wordhouse International Christian Centre, 1013 Cottman Ave.

Admission is free.

Bashir, of Castor Gardens, is the Republican candidate in the 2nd Congressional District. He believes the country has to turn to God to solve its problems.

Bashir cites issues such as the $36 trillion debt, inflation, the struggling economy, crime, failing public schools, continuous wars and attacks on faith, family and gender.
