Inter Philly, a newly formed club from the merger of Fairmount Soccer Association, Philadelphia City FC, and United Philly Soccer Club, is set to redefine the game.

With a focus on player development, elite coaching, and expanded competition, this merger strengthens opportunities for young athletes at all levels.

Inter Philly—officially known as Philadelphia International Football Club—launches at a pivotal moment.

Soccer’s popularity in the city is surging, fueled by the Union’s success, upcoming 2026 World Cup matches, and rising stars like teenage phenom Cavan Sullivan.

The club aims to harness that momentum and provide a premier platform for young players.

Inter Philly offers more competition, professional-level coaching, and access to top-tier training facilities across Philadelphia.

Programs start as young as two years old and range from recreational soccer to elite travel teams.

The club features 50 to 60 coaches and roughly 2,000 players, with about half competing in travel soccer.

Tryouts for the inaugural Fall 2025 season begin in March and April, with registration already open.

Players from all three clubs will officially transition at the end of the Spring 2025 season.

“This merger is about more than just combining teams—it’s about creating a lasting legacy that will benefit young players for generations,” said Wendy Smith, Co-Executive Director of Inter Philly.
