The HEADstrong Foundation, an organization dedicated to aiding families battling cancer and making care more accessible, will host its 15th annual fundraiser on September 18, 2025, from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. at an all-new location, The Switch House (1325 Beach St., Philadelphia, PA 19125). Formerly known as The Lime Light Gala, A Night for the HEADstrong Foundation Benefiting Nick’s House Philadelphia highlights the importance of providing accessible care for cancer patients and raises funds to help more families through initiatives like Nick’s House.
A Night for HEADstrong, emceed by Andie Summers from 92.5 XTU, will be an amazing evening featuring a cocktail hour and a silent and live auction featuring items guests won’t want to miss. Guests will also enjoy musical entertainment by DJ Gaetano Entertainment and Brian Fitzy and observe an inspirational awards presentation, honoring Penn Medicine’s Hematology and Oncology team, as well as a current patient and other foundation honorees. This incredible night honors families in the fight against cancer and funds the fight to improve the lives of those affected by cancer across the country. For those who are interested in attending A Night for HEADstrong, tickets can be purchased here.
All proceeds from the event will benefit Nick’s House, which offers complimentary stays to cancer patients who have to travel distances to seek cancer treatment. Families can stay in a home instead of a hotel or hospital, maintaining the comfortable environment that many patients desire when seeking treatment. HEADstrong aims to maintain that feeling of normalcy for families while eliminating the financial burden many families face.

“This benefit, like everything we do, is for Nick. He charged me with taking this foundation where it would need to go, and this fundraiser is just one part of our mission. We hope to continue offering Nick’s House free of charge and provide even more support to families navigating cancer,” said Cheryl Colleluori, President of the HEADstrong Foundation. “Nick truly was an incredible person, and I’m honored to work every day to keep his memory alive and continue the incredible work he started.”
Since its creation from Nick’s hospital bed, HEADstrong has assisted 33,800 patients and their families, raised more than $34 million, served thousands of Thanksgiving dinners, and changed countless lives. HEADstrong has grown past the Philadelphia area, and now has a Nick’s House Boston, and continues to work to serve more areas in the United States.
