Ray Sheehan, founder of Old City Media, a Philadelphia-based global experiential marketing agency, will be giving away free bags of groceries at two Grocery Outlet locations on Friday, December 19, 2025. The bags will be filled with turkey, ham, potatoes, vegetables, cranberry sauce, gravy, and everything needed to make a delicious holiday meal. “We are planning to feed a couple of hundred families this holiday season in the neighborhoods that need it the most,” said Sheehan. “Because of recent events – including rising food prices and federal resources being cut – people are really worried about not being able to feed their families, so we’re going to do what we can to help these families this holiday season.”

Anyone who shows up at the following two locations will be given free groceries – no questions asked:

  1. Grocery Outlet
    1801 N American St
    Philadelphia, PA 19122
    7:30 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.
  2. Grocery Outlet
    2077 Ridge Ave
    Philadelphia, PA 19121
    10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Sheehan said he was inspired to organize this giveaway because it aligns with his ethos of giving back. The highly successful entrepreneur who has built Old City Media into a national marketing powerhouse started his professional journey in the regional entertainment/nightlife field and transitioned into the event and retail space, eventually servicing all of North America and cracking the code of creating memorable brand experiences. Part of Sheehan’s successful business model is believing in the power of authentic connection. As the Founder of Old City Media, he has pioneered a more purposeful form of experiential marketing, one grounded in real human interaction. “I felt I had a duty to give back after all these years in business, and I had the connections to make it happen. True success includes the people you love and the communities you support,” he added.
