Rivers Casino recently announced it will be hosting a Party on the Pier to celebrate Labor Day on Sunday, Sept. 4.

Starting at 6 p.m., the party will feature live music and entertainment, food, family-friendly activities and a fireworks display to cap off the night at 9 p.m.

“Our third Party on the Pier is a great way to celebrate the unofficial end of summer,” said Justin Moore, the general manager of Rivers Casino, in a press release. “Live music and amazing fireworks will highlight the Labor Day weekend, and guests will enjoy the party as much as they did when we celebrated Memorial Day and July 4th weekends together.”

Music will be performed by The Ultimate Donna Summer Tribute, founded by and featuring Rainere Martin. Many of the late singer’s hits, which span across multiple decades, will be included in the set list.

A wide array of local food trucks will be providing food throughout the day. That includes Smoke Break BBQ, Southern Style Seafood, Cousins Maine Lobster and Rita’s Italian Ice.

Visitors will also be able to enjoy a large number of family games and activities such as cornhole, giant games of pong, Connect 4, Jenga, face painting and a balloon artist.

Attendance at the event is free of charge. Additional information can be found at RiversCasino.com/Philadelphia.
