Bill is a sweet young guy with lots of energy who will make a wonderful snuggling and athletic companion for his furever family. Found as a stray, Bill is about 2 years old and living in a foster home. He is fun and friendly, and a very quick learner – exceptionally smart and curious. Sometimes his enthusiasm overwhelms him, he’s learning ways to stay calm when new, exciting or concerning things come his way, so he’ll need someone who will continue to help him manage all that the world may throw at him.
His favorite thing is to be with his people, he loves learning new things, especially when it involves treats, which it always does. That said, he can entertain himself with a yummy Kong or other goodie and then settle in for a nap when his humans need to head out for a while, and he has experience hanging out in a large crate and in a kennel. His ideal home will be adults-only with a fenced yard. He seems to really like other dogs and may benefit from having a calm, dog-friendly fur sibling.
Bill is neutered, microchipped and is current on his core vaccines. He’s heartworm-negative and has been started on monthly heartworm and flea/tick preventatives.
