NextFab and Olde Kensington Boutique will partner to present the third annual Miracle on American Street Holiday Gift Market on Nov. 18, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., at NextFab North at 1800 N. American St.

Guests can browse local and handmade gifts from more than 100 Philadelphia-based artists and makers.

Attendees can expect an event that is filled with local craftsmanship, giveaways, demonstrations and make-and-take activities for a family-friendly holiday outing.

NextFab is a membership-based maker space, providing shared workshops and classes in woodworking, metalworking, laser cutting, 3D printing, textiles, jewelry making and digital manufacturing tools.

NextFab helps support small, local entrepreneurs go from making to selling.

A membership unlocks access to classes, educational resources and tools needed to build products and transform ideas into solutions, and a chance to explore making as a professional pathway.

Miracle on American Street and its Gift Guide provide craft makers and online businesses exposure within the community while inspiring everyone to shop local and uplift Philadelphia creatives.

Guests can enjoy food and beverages from a variety of vendors, including the cuisine of Sor Ynez.

Other highlights include demonstrations, giveaways and tours of the NextFab facilities from noon to 4 p.m., meeting the makers in their studio spaces used to produce the items available for purchase.

There will also be make-and-take activities including jewelry stamping and make-your-own ornaments, and a make-your-own s’mores area.

Purchases can be wrapped in locally designed wrapping paper.

To get more gift ideas, NextFab’s annual Gift Guide will be released in early November.

The Gift Guide showcases the talent of local artisans and encourages the public to shop local and handmade.

The Guide will feature more than 50 businesses that work out of NextFab and showcase some 170 products.
