Dennis Magrann, of DriveWell Rehab, has a background as an occupational therapist and more than 20 years experience as a driving rehabilitation specialist.

Magrann works with clients with medical issues such as stroke, neuropathy, amputation, spinal cord injury, concussions and head injury, Parkinson’s, paralysis and multiple sclerosis.

A member of the Association for Driving Rehabilitation Specialists, he will meet a client at his or her home.

Hours are flexible, and the service is available in Philadelphia and Bucks and Montgomery counties.

Magrann offers a pre-driving evaluation, vehicle modification evaluation, behind-the-wheel evaluation and adaptive driving equipment training, along with instruction on how to load mobility devices into a client’s personal vehicle.

Hour-long driving sessions take place at the Huntingdon Valley DMV.

The vehicle he uses is equipped with safety features such as an instructor brake, special mirrors and adaptive driving equipment like pedal extensions, spinner knobs and hand controls.
