On Saturday, Nov. 30, Mayor Michael Nutter embraced the post-Thanksgiving shopping frenzy, with a local twist. As part of the nationwide Small Business Saturday, which encourages shoppers to buy from local, independent merchants in their communities, Nutter visited the bustling Frankford and Girard avenues in Fishtown.
He stopped by Bicycle Stable, Adorn, Keys to the Attic, the Karlie Corporation Gallery, Milkcrate Cafe, and many more businesses in the area.
