ShopRite’s “Partners In Caring Day” brought in State Rep. John Taylor (R-177th dist., pictured) as an “honorary bagger” that afternoon at the store, at 3745 Aramingo Ave.

The store accepted monetary donations which will go toward local food banks. ShopRite Partners In Caring has donated $29 million to local food banks since 1999.

Also present at the event were firefighters from Engine 28, 24th Police District officers, and Rich Morowski, who donated a $500 check on behalf of labor union AFSCME District Council 47.
