Screening under the stars

Break out your picnic blankets and lawn chairs and get ready for some screenings under the stars.

The Riverfront North Partnership announced the return of its free outdoor movie nights in Northeast Philadelphia.

All screenings begin at sundown on select Thursdays and kids’ activities will be offered before movies begin.

The schedule is as follows:

Thursday, June 20 at Pennypack on the Delaware, 7801 State Road — Goosebumps 2

Thursday, July 18 at Pleasant Hill Park, 8900 N. Delaware Ave. — Brave

Thursday, Aug. 15 at Pennypack on the Delaware   The Goonies presented by Just Born

Thursday, Sept. 19 at Bridesburg Recreation Center, 4601 Richmond St.   The Avengers: Infinity War.

The series is presented by the Riverfront North Partnership with funding from Councilman Bobby Henon.
