A fall open house was hosted at BLDG 39 at The Arsenal in Bridesburg on Wednesday.

Visitors were treated to a wide assortment of food and beverage offerings from local vendors who have partnered with BLDG 39, including Mom-Mom’s Kitchen, Byz Empire, New Liberty Distillery and 13th Street Cocktails.

The event’s entertainment was provided by DeeJay Shelly and featured performances by members of Jewelz Entertainment.

“What an amazing night to be spending with our BLDG 39 partners,” said Craig Weizer, the owner of BLDG 39.

The building that houses BLDG 39 was originally constructed in 1917 during the wartime era to serve as the paint shop in a complex that produced munitions. It has since been repurposed as an ornate event space to host gatherings similar to the one this past Wednesday.

Jen Carroll, a former Top Chef finalist and founder of Carroll Couture Cuisine, was impressed by the venue as a whole.

“I’d love for me and my team to be hired for an event there,” Carroll said.
