The Northern Liberties Business Improvement District has announced the return of Northern Liberties Restaurant Week. Running from Jan. 27 to Feb. 5, the restaurant week has transitioned to the winter to support restaurants during the colder months. The nearly two dozen establishments will offer affordable lunch and dinner offerings at each site to highlight the diversity and quality of the restaurant district’s offerings.

“Northern Liberties continues to gain popularity as one of the hottest food destinations in the city,” NLBID executive director Kris Kennedy said. “With at least 10 more restaurants, cafes and food-oriented businesses set to open in 2023, our restaurant week is a celebration of all the energy, creativity and talent. It is a fantastic way to experience and show off that growth.”

For its third year, Northern Liberties Restaurant Week will offer a taste for every palate – with cuisine from around the country and around the world including Vietnamese, Armenian, Italian, American, Chinese, Thai and Mexican. Look for everything from skewers to salads, Philly’s best tacos to comfort food classics and big steaks to big salads.

The restaurant week is designed to spotlight the variety and quality of the area’s food offerings in a still-challenging time.

“Most eateries are still recovering from COVID disruptions and rising food costs, so this is a big and important two weeks for them,” Kennedy said. “If you’ve ever wanted to try one of the places on this year’s list, now is the time.”

Many of the participating restaurants are offering both lunch and dinner specials. Reservations, made with each participating restaurant, are strongly encouraged for the event,
